Granite City Speedway Announces Cancellation of 2020 Season

Sauk Rapids, MN - Due to the restrictions set in place restricting gatherings of greater than 250 people, Granite City Speedway regretfully announces the cancellation of the 2020 racing season.

GCS wanted to give all drivers and fans the opportunity to enjoy a full racing experience this season. Management was hopeful that as the summer went on, restrictions would be eased allowing it to be feasible to not only open this year, but make sure we would be able to open in years to come. Several options were looked at to make racing happen at GCS this year and with little insight as to when we will be able to gather in larger groups, the decision to cancel was not made lightly.

Granite City Speedway wants to thank all of those whom support the track including drivers, crew, fans, employees, and sponsors, and we look forward to seeing you in 2021!
