WISSOTA and Hoosier Racing Tire Extend Long-Term Contract

St. Cloud, Minnesota – November 9, 2024. WISSOTA Auto Racing and Hoosier Racing Tire are extremely pleased to announce that their 40+ year relationship will continue through the 2029 season. Members from the WISSOTA Board of Directors and representatives from Hoosier engaged in a lengthy contract negotiation and both parties feel a great extension was agreed upon for all parties involved.

We look forward to working with Hoosier for the next five seasons.

Hoosier Racing Tire and Wissota Extend Long-Term Contract

Lakeville, Ind. – November 8, 2024. Hoosier Racing Tire is pleased to announce that its 40+ year relationship with Wissota Auto Racing will continue through the 2029 season.

The Indiana-based company has been selected once again as the tire supplier to the sanctioning body in a continued partnership that has spanned 40 years. Wissota-sanctioned classes exclusively utilizing Hoosier tires will include Late Models, Modifieds, Midwest Modifieds, Super Stocks, Street Stocks, Mod 4’s, and Pure Stocks.

“Everyone at Hoosier is pleased to continue our partnership with Wissota,” said Paul Menting, VP of Sales, Hoosier Racing Tire. “The Wissota organization has been a cornerstone in the growth of our company since we signed our first sponsorship agreement with them back in 1981. We are extremely satisfied to have Wissota back in our corner for another five years.”

Hoosier will continue to supply Wissota Auto Racing with the plated Wissota W30S and 35-W tires, in addition to the 1600 Mod 4 tire, through Hoosier Tire North and its affiliated dealers. Hoosier also pledged to continue testing and development to pursue improved durability and consistency for all Wissota tires.

“We really challenged Hoosier to bring a proposal that put our racers first, but also continued the support of our weekly sanctioned tracks,” said Wissota Board Member Tom Wagamon. “They definitely met our expectations with this new agreement. We look forward to continuing our great relationship and partnership with Hoosier Racing Tire.”
