2021 Speedway Motors WISSOTA 100 News

St Augusta, MN (March 18, 2021) – WISSOTA Auto Racing officials are pleased to announce that Speedway Motors will be returning as the title sponsor on the WISSOTA 100. The Speedway Motors WISSOTA 100 will be back at I-94 Sure Step Speedway in Fergus Falls, MN for 2021.

Following a successful 2018 and 2019 at I-94 Sure Step Speedway, the COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of the 2020 Speedway Motors WISSOTA 100. This unprecedented decision came with an agreement to return to I-94 Sure Step Speedway for the 2021 season.

"Speedway Motors is a family company that cares about their customers and partners,” said Carson Gramm, WISSOTA Executive Director. “It is truly a fantastic experience working with Speedway Motors, and partners like them. They are an integral part in the future of all forms of racing, including WISSOTA Auto Racing.”

“We’re excited to announce our continued support of WISSOTA and return of the WISSOTA 100 for the 2021 season. Our roots are in racing,” said Clay Smith, President and Owner of Speedway Motors. “By supporting WISSOTA and it’s member tracks we hope to help customers build their dreams while keeping racing safe, fun and affordable.”

Tickets and camping will be available for renewal in the coming weeks, and attendees can expect a brand new layout to the venue following extensive work to the grounds in the 2020 season. The campgrounds will see straight lines and wider drive areas. There will be 410 campsites and over 400 pit stalls. All grandstand seating will be reserved on the front stretch, and general admission on the back stretch.

“This continued partnership has provided WISSOTA drivers with numerous benefits,” continued Gramm. “The number of prize giveaways at the Speedway Motors WISSOTA 100 is expected to be larger than ever before thanks to Speedway Motors and other great partners.”

A proud supporter of WISSOTA, Speedway Motors has been committed to providing a broad selection of high-quality, affordable automotive parts—delivered quickly, efficiently and without any hassles since 1952.
